SBZ e.V.

SBZ bedeutet „Stadtteilbildungszentrum“ und ist ein eingetragener und gemeinnütziger Verein (e.V.), d.h. dass SBZ nicht an Gewinn orientiert ist. So hilft SBZ neuen Immigranten in Hamburg:

  • Die deutsche Sprache ist der Schlüssel für soziale Integration: Autonomie, Wohnung, Einkaufen, Mobilität, Familie, Information, Behörden, Ausbildung, Studium, Arbeit, Hobbys. SBZ hat Integrationskurse und Berufssprachkurse. Hier können Sie die Sprache von A1 bis C11 lernen.
  • SBZ ist aber auch Prüfungszentrum. Hier können Sie den Einbürgerungstest (Test „Leben in Deutschland“) und die Prüfung für Zertifikate A1 bis C1 machen (Deutschtest für Zuwanderer, Deutschtest für den Beruf, Zertifikate A1 bis C1 privat).
  • SBZ hilft aber auch, Arbeit finden. Wir machen Bewerbungstraining, also Module für Bewerbungsbrief und Lebenslauf, Arbeitssuche, Bewerbungsgespräch. Module für Computer und Internet, Englisch und Mathematik.

Seit 1999 bieten wir Kurse an. Das Personal ist qualifiziert, staatlich zugelassen und arbeitet professionell. Im Sekretariat bekommen Sie eine kompetente Beratung. Die Lehrer nutzen moderne Methoden und bieten kommunikativen Unterricht an. Sie sind sehr erfahren und bilden sich permanent fort. Die Technik ist modern (Smarttafeln, Internet, Lernplattformen). Alle Schüler erhalten sozialpädagogische Unterstützung.

SBZ hat für Beratung Kooperationen mit verschiedenen sozialen Einrichtungen in Hamburg. Dazu gehören auch die Diakonie – Hamburg und die Interkulturelle Begegnungsstätte IKB2 (Migration, Soziales, Gewalt, Anerkennung von Diplomen).

SBZ ist vom BAMF3 zugelassen und arbeitet mit Job-Center und dem Flüchtlingszentrum Hamburg zusammen.

SBZ macht die Prüfungen der Akademie g.a.s.t. 4 (Deutschtest für Zuwanderer-DTZ) und telc GmbH (Deutschtest für den Beruf – DTB, Zertifikate A1 bis C1)

SBZ hat eine AZAV-Trägerzulassung für Maßnahmen zu „Aktivierung und berufliche Eingliederng“.5

SBZ stands for ‘Stadtteilbildungszentrum’ (district education centre) and is a registered non-profit association (e.V.), which means that SBZ is not profit-oriented. This is how SBZ helps new immigrants in Hamburg:

The German language is the key to social integration: autonomy, housing, shopping, mobility, family, information, authorities, education, studies, work, hobbies. SBZ offers integration courses and vocational language courses. Here you can learn the language from A1 to C1*.
SBZ is also an examination centre. Here you can take the naturalisation test LiD (Leben in Deutschland) and the exams for certificates A1 to C1 (German test for immigrants, German test for work, certificates A1 to C1 private) .
SBZ also helps you find work. We offer job application training, i.e. modules for cover letters and CVs, job hunting and job interviews. Modules for computers and the internet, English and mathematics.

We have been offering courses since 1999. Our staff are qualified, state-approved and professional. You will receive expert advice from our office staff. The teachers use modern methods and offer communicative lessons. They are very experienced and undergo continuous training. The technology is modern (smartboards, internet, learning platforms). All students receive socio-educational support.

SBZ cooperates with various social institutions in Hamburg to provide advice. These include Diakonie–Hamburg and the IKB* (migration, social issues, violence, recognition of diplomas).

SBZ is approved by the BAMF* and works together with the Job Centre and the Refugee Centre Hamburg.
